Tourism Excellence Awards in Zambia

The Tourism Excellence Awards aim to honor outstanding contributions in the fields of travel, hospitality, and destination management. These awards are a testament to the dedication and innovation of individuals and organizations that strive to enhance the tourism experience in Zambia.

Coordinated by the Zambia Tourism Agency, the awards celebrate those who have made significant impacts in promoting local culture and tourism. By recognizing these trailblazers, we inspire others to elevate their standards and contribute positively to the industry.

The Zambia Tourism Agency (ZTA) is thrilled to announce the 4th Edition of the Tourism Excellence Awards, to recognize and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and creativity of individuals, businesses and organizations within the tourism sector. The Awards will honor those who have gone above and beyond in their efforts to enhance the tourism experience, promote responsible travel, and showcase the unique offerings of Zambia to turn the country into a world-class tourist destination.

We invite all compliant (holders of tourism enterprise licenses where applicable) establishments and deserving individuals, organizations, and initiatives that have demonstrated excellence in various aspects of the sector to participate by self-nomination. Below is the full list of categories that will be awarded. You are invited to self-nominate in a category of interest. Please note that you are expected to self-nominate only once in each category that you wish to be considered for. Failure to respect this rule will result into automatic disqualification. Self-nomination window will open from 1st September 2026 and closed on 10th October 2026.
